This large daycare classroom coat rack/shelving unit is made out of real oak wood so it's very solid and sturdy. It was made for a daycare classroom. It has a coat hanger bar for coats (and an area for shoes underneath). Plus, it has 3 shelves for storage and a top that holds lots of paper (trays or baskets could be set in the shelves or on top). Some handy woodworker could easily cut this down so that it fits inside of a closet ... it would be MUCH cheaper than a purchased wooden closet organizer would cost ... and it would be a LOT sturdier.
